I practise at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, the region’s Major Trauma Centre, the referral centre for complex and tertiary level trauma cases

I treat several hip problems and conditions offering tailored non-operative and operative treatment pathways. These include hip pain and soft tissue problems around the hip, arthritis, and painful or failing hip replacements

Mr Simon Bick is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon practising in Bristol, United Kingdom.

I trained in Cape Town, South Africa, qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon there in 2011, and moved to Bristol in 2012 to undertake specialist fellowship training. I undertook three full years of fellowship training – in knee surgery, hip surgery and Major Trauma Centre trauma surgery at Southmead Hospital, under the guidance of several prestigious local surgeons. I completed my FRCS (Eng) Trauma and Orthopaedic specialist examinations and was awarded my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2015. I have been on the GMC Specialist Register since 2015. I work primarily at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust, as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon.
